Kar-Narayan Lab

Kalyan's current research is focused on 4D printing soft robotics for automated operations. He is a former Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellow who aims to develop flexible wearables and 3D-printed solid-state energy storage devices, and triboelectric nanogenerators for the conversion of ambient mechanical energy to green hydrogen. Besides, he works on synthesizing of 2D nanomaterials for electrocatalysis reactions (HER, OER) and fabrication of bespoke filaments and resins for 3D and 4D printing.
