Kar-Narayan Lab

For my PhD, I am working on microscale energy harvesting technologies to power biomedical implants and other micro-devices using ambient energy scavenged from the body and its environment. The aim is to reduce the dependence on batteries, which would lead to safer, longer-lasting, and more versatile devices. Previously, for my MPhil, I have worked with the SKN Group at DMG on thin, flexible force sensors for precision orthopaedic surgery. I hope to apply my academic background in Physics and Nanotechnology, and my professional background in Software and Artificial Intelligence, to tackle challenges in Healthcare through novel biomedical technologies.
